Dr Deepspace

This one-woman show, devised and written by Lottie and Rebecca, premiered at the Lake of Stars festival in Walthamstow in March 2018.

It was a sell-out.

Following the adventures of Dr. Diana Deepspace, trying to rescue Mr. Bojangles (her beloved puppy) from the Kuiper Belt, it involves going to the toilet on Jupiter and meeting a pair of giant pants…

With audience interaction throughout, it’s a great hit with kids and adults alike.

The show is available to book for festivals, kids’ theatre programmes, etc.

A Magical Musical Storybox

This imaginatively devised music/theatre piece engages children in a wonderful world of make-believe, song, percussion and physical movement.

Showcasing the sounds of instruments from the world of jazz, A Magical Musical Storybox weaves improvisation, traditional song styles and the children's compositions of musician Sara Mitra around the storytelling gifts of Magic Box's Lottie.

Lottie and Sara met through their kids - and at Magic Box sessions! - and decided it would be great to collaborate on an interactive, storytelling musical show. So they wrote one!

It premiered at the London Jazz Festival in 2015 with a 5-piece jazz band and singer - and went down a storm!

The show sold out at the High Tide festival in Walthamstow, and has also been seen at the Cambridge Jazz Festival.

Musical Magic Box

This new show debuted at Big Penny Social (Walthamstow) in December 2023 to celebrate 10 years of Magic Box!

Music written and performed by Andy Button, show written/devised by Lottie and Rebecca. Performed by Lottie.

Incredible audience of many storytellers and their big people - they all helped Princess Pippa find the rainbow juice needed to help her fairy godmother get well again!

It was great to be storytelling with music again - and we can’t wait to bring this show to others! Watch this space!
