Happy 10th birthday, Magic Box…

A few months after my last post - about how this year has been quite tough - and the Box has made it. The Box is now 10 years old!

A huge thankyou to all the storytellers, past and present, who have come along to help me tell stories over the years. The Box simply wouldn’t still be here without all of you.

And I decided to celebrate this milestone by putting on a show! With live music by the fabulous Andy Button. And thanks to the generosity of Big Penny Social giving us a space.

And people came. A LOT of people came - and it was absolutely wonderful. Storytellers from the early years helped me make props and supported me during the show, as did old friends and family who encouraged me to start this crazy journey in the first place.

So, as the year ends, my heart is feeling all warm and snuggly - and I know there are different things the Box (and I) can do. So 2024 - watch this space!
